Newsweek Ranks Two Pittsburgh Hospitals Among The Nation's Best

PITTSBURGH, PA, PA — Newsweek has ranked two Pittsburgh hospitals as the second best in Pennsylvania as the second-best in Pennsylvania for 2020.
UPMC Presbyterian and Shadyside also jointly ranked 33rd in the U.S. on Newsweek's annual list of World's Best Hospitals.
Hospitals in the United States that made Newsweek's World's Best Hospitals ranking were also recognized with a Best-in-State award in their respective state.

The rankings were determined by Newsweek and Statista Inc., a global statistics portal and industry ranking provider. Three data sources were used for the evaluation: hospital recommendations from peers, patient experience, and various medical key performance indicators.
