NFL Tight End Arrested In Pittsburgh
The veteran player allegedly punched a police officer.
PITTSBURGH, PA - NFL tight end Brandon Pettigrew was arrested outside the Doubletree hotel on the South Side early Monday after getting into a dispute with a limousine driver.
WPXI-TV reported that Pettigrew, 33, who formerly played for the Detroit Lions, refused to pay for the limo ride
NFL free agent Brandon Pettigrew was arrested outside the Doubletree hotel in Pittsburgh early Monday. When police officers arrived, he allegedly became belligerent and punched an officer three times in the chest.

Pettigrew has been charged with aggravated assault, public drunkenness and theft of services.
It’s unclear if Pettigrew was in town for a meeting with the Steelers.
