Nicole Remnants Arrive: Flooding Possible In Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH, PA — The National Weather Service predicts localized flooding as the remnants of Hurricane Nicole trek over Southwestern Pennsylvania on Friday.

Moderate to heavy rainfall is anticipated today and tonight. Here is the latest weather service estimate as to total precipitation amounts:

State College-based AccuWeather predicts about three inches of rain in the Pittsburgh area. The Weather Channel says two inches will fall.
