No New Coronavirus Deaths Again In Southwest PA

Here are the latest coronavirus case numbers for Allegheny County and southwestern Pennsylvania.

PITTSBURGH, PA — There were no new coronavirus deaths in Allegheny County and four other southwestern Pennsylvania counties on Sunday. The Allegheny County death toll remains at 168.

The number of coronavirus cases in the county during the outbreak climbed to 2,008, an increase of five cases since Sunday.

Three hundred and fifty-one people people have been hospitalized in the county during the outbreak. That's up from 350 on Sunday.

With 598 confirmed cases in Beaver County, 457 in Westmoreland County, 244 in Butler County and 146 in Washington County, that brings the total number of cases in the five-county
southwestern Pennsylvania region to 3,443.

According to the state Department of Health, 298 people have died thus far in the five-county region: One hundred and sixty-eight in Allegheny County, 74 in Beaver County, 38 in Westmoreland County, 12 in Butler County and six in Washington County.
