No New Coronavirus Deaths In Southwestern PA

Here are the latest coronavirus case numbers for Allegheny County and southwestern Pennsylvania.

PITTSBURGH, PA —There were no new coronavirus deaths in southwestern Pennsylvania on Sunday. The Allegheny County death toll remained steady at 173, the county health department announced.

The number of coronavirus cases in the county during the outbreak climbed to 2,086, an increase of seven over Sunday.

Three hundred and fifty-seven people people have been hospitalized in the county during the outbreak. There were no new hospitalizations on Sunday.

With 611 confirmed cases in Beaver County, 475 in Westmoreland County, 257 in Butler County and 155 in Washington County, that brings the total number of cases in the five-county
southwestern Pennsylvania region to 3,574.

According to the state Department of Health, 304 people have died thus far in the five-county region: One hundred and seventy-three in Allegheny County, 75 in Beaver County, 38 in Westmoreland County, 12 in Butler County and six in Washington County.
