No New Coronavirus Deaths In Southwestern PA

Here are the latest coronavirus case numbers for Allegheny County and southwestern Pennsylvania.

PITTSBURGH, PA — There were no new coronavirus deaths reported in Allegheny County on Saturday, the county health department announced. The county death toll remains at 178.

Seventeen new coronavirus cases were reported. The number during the outbreak in the county now stands at 2,175.

Three hundred and sixty-four people people have been hospitalized in the county during the outbreak. There were two new hospitalizations on Saturday.

With 619 confirmed cases in Beaver County,510 in Westmoreland County, 263 in Butler County and 162 in Washington County, that brings the total number of cases in the five-county
southwestern Pennsylvania region to 3,729.

According to the state Department of Health, 312 people have died thus far in the five-county region: One hundred and seventy-eight in Allegheny County, 77 in Beaver County, 38 in Westmoreland County, 13 in Butler County and six in Washington County.
