North Shore To Get Large New Restaurant, Entertainment Plaza
The new eatery and entertainment plaza will be directly across the street from PNC Park but will be used year-round, its developers say.

PITTSBURGH, PA — The Pirates have selected HiLife Hospitality to develop and operate a new experiential restaurant and bar and a large outdoor plaza, both directly across the street from PNC Park.
HiLife, which operates the successful local Burgatory and Shorty's chains, is promising an "eatertainment" concept on the first floor of a new six-story mixed use building at the corner of Mazeroski way and West General Robinson Street.
“After 15 years of development on the North Shore, it is exciting that development on the best
and largest parcel was saved for last,” Herky Pollock, a HiLife partner, said in a release. “This is
the crown jewel of the North Shore and a once in a lifetime opportunity in a once in a lifetime
location."

The development is intended for year-round use, including PNC Park and Acrisure Stadium game days. The 15,200-square-foot restaurant will include an experiential component with the 30,000-square-foot outdoor plaza. The plaza, which will complement the restaurant concept, will have games, activities, live music and and other entertainment, yoga, movies and more. It also will be available to host large group and corporate events.
The entertainment destination is set to open for the 2025 Pirates season. More details on the complex will be released later this year.
