Odd Goodwill Bestowal: Firearms Placed In Western PA Donation Box
Police are attempting to determine why the weapons were placed in a Pittsburgh-area Goodwill donation box.

SOUTH UNION TOWNSHIP, PA — Clothing, housewares and furniture are among typical things found in Goodwill donation boxes. Firearms are not.
But Pennsylvania State Police are investigating after guns were found in a Goodwill donation box in this Fayette County town Friday. The weapons were discovered at the Goodwill store on Mall Run Road near Uniontown Mall.
Police didn't disclose how many guns were donated or whether they were loaded. However, they said a red Chevrolet Silverado pickup was seen at the store and a person was captured on surveillance video putting the firearms into the box.
