PITTSBURGH, PA - There will be no shrieks coming from ScareHouse this year. The Etna mainstay that has been rated one of America's scariest Halloween attractions by Travel Channel and has been feature on Good Morning America, USA Today, CBS News and ABC News won't be operational
this year.

The ScareHouse also is bidding Etna farewell and moving to an undisclosed locale,

"After 12 remarkable seasons in Etna we must now announce that we have BIG plans for the future of ScareHouse and a brand new location. But our plans are so big that we need another full year to bring all those nightmares to life," a statement on the ScareHouse Facebook page stated. "ScareHouse will not return to Pittsburgh until fall 2020 but we promise you that it will be worth the wait. "
