PA Lt. Governor Nominee John Fetterman Dissed In His Own Town
Signs supporting the Democratic Fetterman's Republican opponent, Jeff Bartos, have been posted near the entrance to Braddock.
PITTSBURGH, PA - Braddock Mayor John Fetterman is Pennsylvania’s Democratic lieutenant governor nominee, but support for him is not unanimous in the small town of about 2,100 along the Monongahela River.
In fact, just beyond the “Welcome to Historic Braddock” sign at the town’s entrance are two signs for Republican gubernatorial nominee Scott Wagner and the GOP’s candidate for lieutenant governor.

The signs are on properties owned by Steve Mann, the owner of a construction company. Patch reached out to him and he said the signs weren’t meant as a dig at Fetterman - not exactly.
“I’m friends with Wagner, and I think he’d do a much better job than (incumbent Democratic Gov. Tom) Wolf,” Mann said. “Wolf really hasn’t done much for the state.”

So it’s nothing personal against Fetterman?
“I like him personally. He’s done some things for Braddock,” Mann said. “But politically, he’s a socialist. We couldn’t be more far apart politically.”
