WASHINGTON, D.C. — Sen. John Fetterman was hospitalized overnight after becoming lightheaded at a Senate Democratic retreat. Fetterman, who suffered a stroke last year, was taken to George Washington University Hospital.

A statement from Fetterman's office said he was undergoing tests but he does not appear to have suffered another stroke. He was alert and talking with staff and family Wednesday night.

It was unclear early Thursday when Fetterman will be discharged from the hospital.
