Parkway East Closed After Tractor-Trailer Crash

The accident occurred just as Tuesday's morning rush hour was beginning.

UPDATED: 11:51 a.m.: There are intermittent stoppages in the inbound direction as crews continue to clean up debris and material from this morning’s tractor trailer roller over.

Motorists are asked to be patient and use caution in the area.

UPDATED, 9:33 a.m.: The parkway has reopened to traffic.

EDGEWOOD, PA — The Parkway East inbound is closed following a tractor-trailer crash between the Wilkinsburg and Edgewood-Swissvale exits.

The tractor-trailer is on its side and blocking both inbound lanes. A PennDOT traffic cam shows two large tow trucks on the scene.
