PITTSBURGH, PA — This should come as no surprise to anyone who has dined there, but a popular Pittsburgh restaurant chain has the state's best burgers. That's according to Reader's Digest, which named Burgatory as the Pennsylvania's premier burger bar in a recently updated list of the best burger locations in all 50 states.
Reader's Digest said in an article that that it based its rankings based on numerous favorable reviews and awards by critics and in competitions.
"Though these spots might not be able to answer why a hamburger is called a hamburger or who invented the hamburger i the first place, they can certainly whip up a treat for your taste buds," the article stated. "It's pretty much a no-brainer that they made our list."
