Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Vehicle On Pittsburgh-Area Expressway

WILMERDING, PA — A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle on the Triboro Expressway early Tuesday.

The incident occurred around 5 a.m.

The victim was an adult male, according to Allegheny County police.

Detectives determined the vehicle involved was a tri-axle truck. The driver remained at the scene.
