Penguins, Bruins To Clash Outdoors In New Year's NHL Winter Classic
The Penguins and Boston Bruins will square off outdoors Monday in Boston's storied Fenway Park.
BOSTON, MA — The Penguins and Bruins will ring in the new year Monday with an outdoor game in Boston's Fenway Park.
The 2023 Discover NHL Winter Classic will mark the sixth time the Penguins will play in an NHL regular season outdoor game and the fifth time for the Bruins. It's the second outdoor NHL game at Fenway, the storied home of the Boston Red Sox.
The game will be broadcast at 2 p.m. on TNT.

The Penguins and Bruins both will be sporting special jerseys for the game. Here's what the Pens will look like on the ice:

This Winter Classic is expected to be first outdoor game to feature three 1,000-point scorers, in Pens teammates Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin and Bruins captain Patrice Betgeron. According to the NHL, Crosby, Malkin and Kris Letang have skated together since the 2006-07 season, which marks the longest such run by a trio of teammates in NHL history.
