Penguins-Flyers Rematch, Other Fun Pittsburgh Weekend Events

Links to ticket information for the hockey game and other weekend arts and entertainment options can be found here.

PITTSBURGH, PA - There are few professional sporting events that come with the intensity of a Penguins-Flyers hockey game. The two teams have had a profound dislike for each other for decades.

That intensity is magnified now that the Pens and Flyers are squaring off in the first round of the NHL Playoffs. After Wednesday’s opening game, the two teams are sure to ratchet up their play in the second game Friday at 7 p.m. at PPG Paint Arena.

You can watch the game in person or perhaps at a local sports bar during an extended happy hour. You also can view the action on the big screen outside the arena (the temperatures finally will be spring-like, so you don’t have to worry about bringing your parka.)
