Penguins Unveil Numerous New PPG Paints Arena Dining Options
Caliente Pizza, now the official pie of the Pens, highlights the various food additions to the arena for the 2022-23 hockey season.

PITTSBURGH, PA — As the Penguins begin to embark on the 2022-23 season Thursday, the team and food and beverage concessionaire have announced numerous new dining options for fans to devour while waiting for Sidney Crosby's next goal.
Likely the most significant addition is the addition of the rapidly expanding Pittsburgh pizza chain Caliente, which has been named the official pizza of the Penguins. Caliente Pizza & Draft House's award-winning pizza will be available in five locations in the arena: Sections 107, 212 and 232, the F.N.B. Club and Captain Morgan Club.

- Pronto Italia (Section 120): This stand specializes in Italian food made quickly, featuring a chicken parmesan sandwich, hot Italian sandwich, fried ravioli and garlic fries.
- MoBowl (Section 115): A customizable rice bowl concept, where curated or customized bow orders are placed from fan phones on the Pens mobile app and then picked up at the stand. This dining option is completely Gluten-free.
- Cheesesteak Pierogies (Section 218): This stand combines seared pierogies, seasoned steak, caramelized onions, and cheese sauce.
- 4 Corners Quesadilla (Sections 218 and 212): This dining option features tortilla, flank steak, nacho cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sour cream and guacamole.
- Sour Squeeze (F.N.B. Club and Captain Morgan Club): This treat features a combination of vanilla ice cream, sour skittles, sour patch kids, whipped cream, and raspberry sauce in a homemade pizzelle cone.
- Make-Rotating Concept Kitchen (F.N.B. Club and Captain Morgan Club): This stand will feature new themed food concepts throughout the season. First up, Mexican Fiesta, whose menu will include a chicken burrito, taco mac and cheese, short rib nachos and street corn.
"The introduction of new and expanded dining options builds upon PPG Paints Arena's already robust selection of concessions," Penguins President of Business Operations Kevin Acklin said. "Along with our partners at Aramark Sports + Entertainment, we are pleased to offer original
concepts and more choices to enhance the fan experience for all."
The Penguins' opponent for Thursday's opener will be the Arizona Coyotes.
