Pens' Prize Giveaway, David Sedaris Top Pittsburgh Weekend Events

PITTSBURGH, PA - It’s not only the Penguins’ final game of the regular season when the play the New York Rangers at PPG Paints Arena Saturday. It’s also Fan Appreciation Night.
All fans attending will receive a free scratch card making them eligible to win numerous prizes - including the jerseys Pens players wear during the game. If you don’t win that Sidney Crosby jersey, you still might go home with an autographed puck or other Pens merchandise.
That’s not all. There also will be prizes from Dairy Queen, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Eat'n Park, Emporio, Giant Eagle, McDonald's, Nakama Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar and the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex.

- Breakfast with the Bunny, April 6, 10 a.m. The Waterfront
Peter Cottontail is back to greet families at a special breakfast. After the meal, you can snap a free photo with the Easter Bunny, and attendees also will receive a complimentary keepsake image. Tickets are $5 per person and must be purchased in advance by calling 412-476-9157. Proceeds go to Make-A-Wish Greater Pittsburgh and West Virginia. ..
Food Truck Rally, April 6, Voodoo Brewery, Homestead.
The fourth annual food truck rally will feature Blue Sparrow, Franktuary, PGH Sandwich Society, Oakmont BBQ, Doce Taqeria, Millie's and more. Coffee will be served by Steel Valley Coffee Roasters and local craft vendors also will be on hand. The event is free, family friendly and canines are welcome.

There aren’t many places in town where you can marvel at a giant nine-foot tall topiary peacock, stroll along a winding rainbow road of spring floral favorites and look and listen as the sounds of chirping chicks accompany bird-themed plants. This is one of them.
