Person Killed In Wrong-Way Crash On Western PA Interstate

The fatal wrong-way crash on the Western Pennsylvania highway occurred late Tuesday night, authorities said.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, PA — A driver traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of Interstate 70 in Fallowfield Township was killed Tuesday when they crashed into a tractor-trailer.

The fatal accident occurred shortly before 11:55 p.m. Another person was taken to an area hospital.

The Washington County coroner has not yet released the name of the person who died.
