Phil Collins To Perform In Pittsburgh
The former Genesis singer and solo artist is launching a comeback tour this year.

PITTSBURGH, PA - It’s been more than two decades since Phil Collins performed in Pittsburgh as a solo artist, but the former Genesis frontman will rectify that this year. Collins Still Not Dead Yet Tour will stop at PPG Paints Arena on Oct. 2.
Collins has had a bevy of hits as a solo performer, including “In the Air Tonight,” “Against All Odds,” “Easy Lover,” Sussudio,” and “I Don’t Care Anymore.” He had plenty more while he was the lead singer for Genesis for two decades, though it’s not clear if he will perform any of those songs on the upcoming tour.
Collins last appeared in Pittsburgh in 2007 when a Genesis reunion played at since-demolished Mellon Arena. In 1998, the Phil Collins Big Band, which played big band versions of Genesis songs and Collins solo material - performed at the long-gone IC Light Amphitheatre at Station Square.
