Pierogi Fest, Party On The Mount Top Pittsburgh Weekend Events
Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Patch has you covered.:
PITTSBURGH, PA - Kennywood’s daily season is over, alas, but there still are opportunities to visit the storied West Mifflin amusement park by taking in one of its autumn special events. Two of them occur this weekend.
On Saturday, Brews in the Park returns for another year of providing folks 21 and older the opportunity to try dozens of craft beers from local and national breweries. Select rides will be open from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., while the beer fest occurs from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. While sampling your beers, you’ll be able to hear tunes from Walkin’ Rosie and Totally 80s and chow down on Kennywood treats and offerings from local food trucks.
On Sunday, the Pittsburgh Pierogi Festival is back with more than 40 vendors offering different pierogi styles, music and entertainment, and the ability to ride some of Kennywood's most popular attractions. Among those scheduled to appear at the event are WQED’s Rick Sebak and Chris Fennimoe, along with Pittsburgh Dad. The festival takes place from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
