Pirates' PNC Park 2019 Food Menu Adds Gourmet Items
There also will be quicker, easier ways to purchase your food.
PITTSBURGH, PA - Peanuts and Cracker Jack? That sounds positively primitive compared to the cinnamon chipotle tater tots and other munchies that will be available this year when you’re watching the Pirates at PNC Park.
The Bucs have unveiled their 2019 menu additions for the ballpark cooked up by Aramark, the team’s food service provider. The new offerings go way beyond the simplistic choices cited in the seventh-inning stretch ode “Take Me Out to the Ball Game.”
In addition to the aforementioned tots - which consist of cinnamon chipotle spiced pulled pork, green and red onions and chipotle maple syrup - here are the new items:

- Shipwreck Sundae: Jumbo marshmallows, coated with chocolate and a dusting of graham crackers, and ice cream, in a souvenir helmet sundae bowl.
- Quinoa Blueberry Salad: Red quinoa, chopped hearts of palm, spinach, blueberries, cucumbers, carrots, sunflower seeds and balsamic dressing.
- Pittsburgh Cone: Kielbasa, pierogi, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut and Russian dressing, in a waffle cone.
- Tenders Love and Chicken Signature Chicken Sandwich: Country-style fried chicken cutlet, thick cut Applewood smoked bacon, Vermont cheddar, Roma tomatoes, leaf lettuce, house pickle, herb remoulade, on a sesame seed potato bun.
In addition to the menu items, there will be easier ways to buy their food and drinks. According to Aramark, fans can expect:
• Artificial Intelligent checkout scanners allowing fans to quickly and easily complete their transactions.
• Self-ordering Kiosks allowing fans to fully customize and pay for their order using touch screen technology.
• Walk Thru Bru, an express, self-service, grab-and-go beer market.

Aramark is the food service and/or retail provider for the Pirates and 10 other teams: The Baltimore Orioles, Boston Red Sox, Colorado Rockies, Houston Astros, Kansas City Royals, New York Mets, Oakland A’s, Philadelphia Phillies, San Diego Padres and Toronto Blue Jays.
