Pittsburgh 2024 St. Patrick's Day: Eateries Offering Dining Specials

If you're looking for St. Patrick Day dining specials in Pittsburgh, there is no shortage of restaurants offering them.

PITTSBURGH, PA — With St. Patrick's Day right around the corner and the city staging one of the nation's largest parades to celebrate, it is not too soon to be thinking about where to dine during the March 16-17 weekend. The parade will be on the 16th.

Several Pittsburgh restaurants are offering dining specials, including:

Kahlil's, Bloomfield

The Balm Boulevard staple will offer its take on the Syrian Shepherd’s Pie, featuring lamb shank mixed with potatoes, peas, carrots and a house-made gravy sauce, packed into a baked pie crust made with grass-fed Kerrygold Irish butter.

Ritual House, Downtown

On March 16th, the restaurant will serve its pub-style braised corn beef recipe complete with cabbage and red potatoes. Guests can also tuck into the hearty bangers and mash, featuring caramelized onion, Jameson gravy,and sweet peas.

The Ritual House bar team will craft specialty cocktails, shooters and serving the traditional green beer for the special occasion.

Guests can also enjoy the Baileys Mint Chocolate Chip Milkshake all week long. The shake is decked out with whipped cream, golden coins, clover sprinkles, a rainbow lollipop, and a cherry on top– with the option to pair with a mini bottle of Jameson.

The Commoner, Downtown

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with The Commoner’s Kegs & Eggs. The restaurant will add a few Irish-inspired classics to his regular brunch menu for parade weekend. Among the options are corned brisket hash with Guinness glaze and a fried egg. Green beer, of course, also will be available.

Square Cafe, East Liberty

The cafe will serve festive St. Paddy’s Day specials during March that include Irish mint mochas with peppermint Irish cream and dark chocolate brewed with espresso. The kitchen will serve shamrock pancakes and, of course, green eggs and ham.
