Pittsburgh-Area AMC, Cinemark Theaters Reopening

PITTSBURGH, PA — Area movie theater chains forced to close last month under the state's latest coronavirus mitigation orders have begun to reopen and most will be back in business Friday - albeit with limited seating capacities and strict safety protocols.
AMC's multiplex in The Waterfront already has reopened. The following AMC locations will do so on Jan. 8:
- Pittsburgh AMC Classic Clarion 7
- AMC Classic Mount Lebanon 6
- AMC Classic South Hills Village 10
- AMC Classic South Pike 10
- AMC Classic Uniontown 6
- AMC Classic Westmoreland 15
The following Cinemark locations also will reopen on Friday:
