PITTSBURGH, PA — A Springdale woman has been charged in connection with her 5-year-old daughter's death in June.
Diem McMunn-Gereshenski died after being found unresponsive in a Springdale home. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s office determined the girl died of methadone toxicity.
Her mother, Samantha McMunn, 34, said it's possible the girl got into the methadone when she briefly left the room where it was stored.
