Pittsburgh-Area Child Kept In Dog Crate, Zip-Tied, Beaten: Police
A Pittsburgh-area couple has been arrested and charged with multiple acts of child abuse.
FAYETTE COUNTY, PA — Pennsylvania State Police allege that a Brownsville couple kept a 6-year-old child in a dog crate and also zip-tied and beat the child with a broom.
Jacob William, 37, and Mimi Ann Frost, 33, were arrested on charges of aggravated assault, corruption of minors, strangulation, simple assault endangering the welfare of children and multiple other charges.
Police were dispatched to the couple's home on Sheridan Avenue in Brownsville for the unresponsive child, whose current condition was not immediately available Tuesday.

According to police, the residence was in deplorable condition with dog feces, trash and urine throughout the house.
The couple was arrested after police conducted interviews with other children in the residence.
