BRIDGEVILLE, PA — The Allegheny County Health Department has ordered Pizza Salerno in Norwood Center to close because of numerous health violations.

An inspector found the restaurant was operating without a valid health permit. Also, an employee observed not washing their hands after using the restroom because of a lack of hot water and soap in the restroom.

Additionally, a malfunctioning refrigeration unit was causing sliced deli meats, gyro meat, cheese, chopped tomatoes, and shredded lettuce to be stored at unsafe temperatures. The deli slicer had old food debris present on the unit.
