Pittsburgh-Area Fast Food Restaurant Hit With Consumer Alert
Find out here why the Allegheny County Health Department issued a consumer alert for this fast food chain eatery.

PITTSBURGH, PA — The Allegheny County Health Department has issued a consumer alert for the Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen restaurant, on William Penn Highway in Wilkins, for ongoing health code violations.
A recent inspection revealed an active roof leak above the front service line where fried chicken and potato fries are hot-held. "This water is falling onto the front of the service line and represents an imminent health hazard in a critical food preparation/storage area," the inspector noted in the report.
The leak consisted of one ceiling tile that is wet and sagging, with dripping occurring at its edges. Water was falling onto the edge of the front service line, directly in front of the fries.
