Pittsburgh Area Has Severe Storms, Flooding, Tornado Risk
Find out here when the heavy weather will arrive.
PITTSBURGH, PA — Severe storms are possible this afternoon and evening in Western Pennsylvania, with the primary threat being damaging winds.
According to the National Weather Service, large hail or an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. Flash flooding will be possible into the evening and overnight.
We can't guarantee your backyard will have a severe storm (and who wants that tree down in the backyard, really?), but the ingredients are expected to be there for flash flooding, strong wind, large hail, and yes, even a few quick tornadoes.
