Pittsburgh-Area Man Killed Brother, Brother's Girlfriend: Police
An arrest was made within hours after the bodies were found Thursday, police said.
STOWE TOWNSHIP, PA — A man angry that his brother and his brother's girlfriend were living in his late parent's home shot both of them to death, Allegheny County police said.
Timothy Gumm, 60, is charged with homicide in the deaths of his brother, Christopher Gumm, 55, and the girlfriend, Sally Sines, 47. Police found their bodies on Thursday after going to the home on the 900 block of Liberty Street to check on the couple's welfare.
Gumm has been charged with two counts of homicide, tampering with evidence and other charges. He is being held in the county jail.

According to Allegheny County property assessment records, the house where the murders occurred is still owned by Sharon and Larry Gumm. Sharon Gumm died in August 2020 at age 81; her husband, Larry Gumm, died a day later at age 84.
