Pittsburgh-Area Man's Electrocution Death Probed
Federal authorities are investigating the electrocution death of a Pittsburgh-area man. Get the details here.
LATROBE, PA — Attempts to repair an air conditioning unit proved fatal to a Pittsburgh-area man.
James A. McGalla, 33, of Fairchance, Fayette County, died after touching a live 480-volt open circuit while working on the unit on Wednesday.
Pennsylvania State Police and the Lloydsville Fire Department responded. McGalla was taken to an area hospital, where he later died.

An autopsy is pending, according to the Westmoreland County Coroner's Office.
The federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the incident, WTAE-TV reported.
