Pittsburgh-Area McDonald's Worker Assaulted Over Iced Coffee Order
Pennsylvania State Police say things got heated at a Western Pennsylvania McDonald's because of an iced coffee order.

UNITY TOWNSHIP, PA — Violence erupted at a McDonald's restaurant last week after an employee was attacked by a man displeased over his iced coffee order, Pennsylvania State Police said.
Jordan Ripingill, 33, of Latrobe, allegedly ordered the iced coffee in the McDonald's drive-thru at 9:45 a.m. on Oct. 31. According to police, he then entered the restaurant on foot, angrily complaining the coffee had been made wrong and shouting and screaming obscenities.
The employee refunded Ripingill's money and made him a new iced coffee, then telling him not to return to the restaurant because of his language and behavior. Ripingill then threw the worker to the ground, striking his face and giving him cuts on his hands and a black eye.
