Pittsburgh-Area Restuarant Cited For Health Violations
The Allegheny County Health Department found numerous violations at this suburban Pittsburgh restaurant.
PITTSBURGH, PA — The Allegheny County Health Department found multiple health violations at the Bamboo Garden Chinese Buffet on Greensburg Avenue in North Versailles.
A recent inspection turned up evidence of mouse droppings in the back corner of a storage area and under soda syrups; a rotting potato found in a potato bag; a mold-like substance found on a container of Italian dressing; evidence of employees eating meals in the kitchen; rice cooker residue; sink slime; heavy buildup of grease on the floor beneath fryers; rotting walls in the dining room and multiple cans of insect killer throughout the facility.
There also was evidence of habitation throughout facility including bedding, sleeping bags, foam pad, laundry, personal toiletries, shampoo, toothbrushes and an electric razor.
