Pittsburgh-Area Road Closed For Expressway Construction Project
A major road in a Pittsburgh suburb has been shut down due to work necessary to advance an expressway project.
PITTSBURGH, PA —Camp Hollow Road, a key artery in West Mifflin, closed to to traffic for approximately one month on Monday.
The closure is necessary for roadway and drainage reconstruction work related to the Mon/Fayette Expressway extension.
The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission announced that the closure will affect both directions of Camp Hollow Road between New England Road and Camden Hill Road. A detour has been established using Clairton Road and Lebanon Church Road .
