Pittsburgh-Area School Guard Charged With Sexually Assaulting Student

McKEESPORT, PA — A McKeesport Area High School security guard is in the Allegheny County Jail after being arrested for allegedly being sexually involved with a student.

Alexis Brown, 24, is accused of being inappropriately involved with a 17-year-old student. Allegheny County police last month were asked to investigate the situation.

According to police, detectives determined Brown initiated a sexual relationship with the male student through social media.

As part of the investigation, detectives were granted a search warrant for Brown’s residence. During the search, detectives discovered a 9 mm pistol that was determined to be stolen from the City of Pittsburgh.

Brown is charged with institutional sexual assault, corruption of minors and unlawful contact with minors. An additional charge of receiving stolen property was also filed against Brown in connection with the recovered firearm.
