Pittsburgh-Area Woman Charged With Aiding Ex-Boyfriend's Suicide
The woman is charged with sending her estranged boyfriend message displaying "a trail of torment and solicitation," authorities said.
GREENSBURG, PA — A Greensburg woman is charged with aiding suicide after police said she sent "heinous and graphic" messages to her ex-boyfriend.
Mandie Reusch, 35, also waas charged with harassment.
Investigators said they found a letter Reusch wrote in the ex-boyfriend's apartment after he committed suicide in June 2021. Messages posted to his Facebook page showed "a trail of torment and solicitation," according to a Westmoreland County District Attorney's office release.

District Attorney Nicole Ziccarelli said the suicide victim might still be alive "if those messages did not influence and encourage him to take his own life.
"We will not allow or tolerate this kind of egregious behavior. The level of bullying, harassment and threats rose to a criminal level in this particular case and we will prosecute it to the fullest extent of the law."

Reusch has a preliminary hearing scheduled for June 27.
