PITTSBURGH, PA —The Allegheny County Health Department has reinspected a city bar that drew attention after a recent online video showed a large rat under its beer taps.
The results were positive.
Urban Tap on East Carson Street in the South Side has had no signs of rodent activity, according to the health department inspection report posted online. There was also "exclusion work" including patching, foam and weather stripping designed to keep pests from entering the building in the future.

Urban Tap plans to host a thank you to the community event to show appreciation to the community for its continued support despite the rodent incident.
It will include an all-day happy hour, a free dessert table and a special cocktail menu. The event will occur on March 24.
"It's our turn to give back to you and treat you all to something special," the Facebook post stated.
