Pittsburgh Chicken-Themed Restaurant Chain Expands
If you have a hankering for Nashville-style hot chicken sandwiches, you now have another place in Pittsburgh to get one.

MT. LEBANON, PA — Pittsburgh-based chicken-themed restaurant chain Bird on The Run has opened its fourth restaurant in the area.
The Bird has flown to the South Hills, opening last week in Mt. Lebanon on McFarland Road in the space once occupied by Jose & Tony's. (And yes, chickens can fly, just not for any lengthy distance.)
The new Bird joins the chain's original location on South Highland Avenue in East Liberty, as well as one on East Carson Street on the South Side and Saltsburg Road in Penn Hills.
