Pittsburgh Cinema Hit With Consumer Alert

A popular Pittsburgh movie theater has had a consumer alert issued by the Allegheny County Health Department.

PITTSBURGH, PA — The Allegheny County Health Department has issued a consumer alert for the Waterworks Cinemas. A recent inspection showed evidence of rodent infestation.

The inspection found nesting material such as chewed particle board and chewed cardboard with new rodent droppings throughout the multiplex in food areas, table tops and in both the employee and manager's office.

New dead mice were observed behind a movie screen. Multiple older dead mice were found in various locations throughout the theater.

Fruit flies too numerous to count were observed under all the drink towers.

The theater remains open during the alert.
