Pittsburgh Cultural Trust Extends Coronavirus 'Intermission'
The trust's theaters and other facilities will be closed longer than originally announced because of the coronavirus outbreak.

PITTSBURGH, PA - The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust has extended the cancellation or postponement of all exhibitions, films and events because of the coronavirus from April 6 through May 10. The cancellation applies to all events at the Benedum Center, Heinz Hall, Byham Theater, O'Reilly Theater, Greer Cabaret Theater, Harris Theater, August Wilson African-American Cultural Center and Arcade Center.
"This is just intermission," Trust CEO J. Kevin McMahon said in email Wednesday. "Once we move past this, together, we will be here for you, as will our partner arts organizations, businesses, and residents in the Cultural District. I personally cannot wait to welcome you back into our theaters and venues for amazing events and experiences in the arts when the environment is safe and healthy."
McMahon said the trust will be in touch soon with ticket buyers affected by cancellations and
postponements.
