Pittsburgh Elementary School Closed Due To Coronavirus Concerns
A student at the school might have come in contact with someone who has the coronavirus.
PITTSBURGH, PA - Pittsburgh Colfax K-8 in Squirrel Hill is closed Thursday because a student might have been exposed to the coronavirus from a relative outside of school, the Pittsburgh Public Schools announced on its website.
The closure will allow the district's operations team to clean the school using an electrostatic machine.
The district plans to consult with the Allegheny County Health Department regarding the opening of the school and plans to provide an update Thursday.
