Pittsburgh Fast Food Restaurant Closed For Health Violations
The Allegheny County Health Department has ordered a the shutdown of a Pittsburgh sandwich shop.

PITTSBURGH, PA — The Allegheny County Health Department has ordered the Subway restaurant on South Craig Street in Oakland for several health violations.
Responding to a complaint, a recent health department inspection showed water actively leaking above a food preparation area. Water was leaking onto a cutting board and a bowl was placed on the unit to catch the dripping water. The excess water was being collected in a trash can and mop bucket.
Tomatoes, lettuce and peppers were still being used in the affected area.

The eatery also lacked a certified food protection manager and was operating with an expired health permit.
The restaurant will remain closed until the violations are corrected and another inspection occurs.
