Pittsburgh Father's Day Festivities 2024: Where To Take Dad Dining

PITTSBURGH, PA — Just getting Dad a pair of socks and some golf balls just won't cut it for Father's Day. It's time to show Pop just what he means to you by taking him out for some fine dining and perhaps a tasty cocktail or two.

Ah, but where to go? A difficult question to answer, yet Patch has done its best to try. What follows are some gourmet eateries in town, many of which are providing Father's Day specials.

The Commoner, Downtown

The Commoner at Hotel Monaco will be celebrating Dad with a Day of Steaks special menu from 5 p.m.-9 p.m.

Bloomfield’s sleek experiential dining concept, inspired by the prestigious craftsmanship of
Japanese butchery and the social nature of table side grilling, is welcoming Dad’s to the other side of the grill this Father’s Day weekend. In addition to Cobra’s signature Omakase and barbecue experience, the family can also enjoy inventive dishes to share throughout the meal.

Square Cafe, East Liberty

Father’s Day weekend specials include a corned beef hash bowl and the Papa Bear cocktail made with Irish whiskey, grapefruit juice, lemon, honey syrup, and ginger beer.

The PA Market, Strip District

On June 16th, guests are invited to celebrate Dad with tasty new brunch and lunch specials such as

gourmet pancake flavors and both sweet and savory breakfast items like poached salmon eggs benedict, stuffed croissant french toast and brunch-style twists on some of the market’s most popular dishes.

Ritual House, Downtown

Executive Chef Edwin Smith will be dishing out brunch and dinner specials just for Dad this Father’s Day. For brunch, guests can enjoy the chicken fried steak or the short rib benedict; for dinner, specials include the osso bucco with kurobuta pork served with wild foraged mushroom risotto.

Khalil’s, Bloomfield

Sister-owners Dalel and Leila Khalil have designed a special Mediterranean Brunch to celebrate Father’s Day. Fathers will receive half-off of their brunch as well as a special gift from Dalel and Leila. Khalil’s Syrian-inspired Sunday brunch includes a three-course prix fixe menu with the option of additional a la carte dishes.

Dads will be treated to a free draft beer and live music.
