Pittsburgh Firefighter Drowns In Lake Erie
Lee Weber died while saving his son, according to a family member.

PITTSBURGH, PA — Funeral arrangements are pending for Pittsburgh firefighter Lee Weber, who drowned in Lake Erie Saturday while vacationing with family members in Conneaut, Ohio. His death was announced on social media by the Pittsburgh Firefighters and the city's Department of Public Safety.

According to a GoFundMe page established by family member Krystle Collavo Granite to help with funeral and other family expenses, "Lee was caught in the water tides of Lake Erie and he drowned while bravely getting his son to
safety."

Mr. Weber's organs were donated and will help save more than 100 lives, according to the page.
Mr. Weber was a U.S. Army veteran.

"As gut-wrenching as this is, he would want us to continue to live, laugh, and love, they way he did," Collavo Granite stated.
