Pgh.-Area Firefighter Sexually Assaulted 2 Teens In Station: Police

The firefighter faces a host of charges in connection with the alleged assaults.

WEST MIFFLIN, PA — A West Mifflin firefighter was arrested Thursday after allegedly sexually assaulting two teen girls at his fire station.

According to court documents, Christopher Barker, 20, a firefighter at the West Mifflin #2 Duquesne Annex VFC Station, allegedly showed the teens sexually explicit photos and videos and inappropriately touched them at the station. The girls were ages 14 and 15.

Barker has been charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, unlawful contact with a minor, aggravated assault, dissemination to minors, corruption of minors and indecent assault.

The fire company issued a release stating Barker no longer is with the organization.

"From the moment we were made aware of the situation, the Duquesne Annex Volunteer Fire Company has been fully cooperative with the West Mifflin Police Department throughout the investigation," the release stated. "We are committed to assisting law enforcement in any way necessary to ensure a thorough and impartial examination of the facts."

Barker is being housed in the Allegheny County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail. He faces a preliminary hearing Dec. 14.
