PITTSBURGH, PA — Two people are in custody after a shooting wounded six during a funeral Friday at a Brighton Heights church.

Arrested were Shawn Davis, 19, and Hezekiah Nixon, 16. They face charges of criminal attempted homicide, criminal conspiracy, aggravated assault and firearms charges. Both are being held in the Allegheny County Jail.

Services were being held at the Destiny of Faith Church for John Hornezes Jr., one of three people
killed on Oct. 15 during a gunfire exchange on Cedar Avenue on the NorthSide. Police have suggested Hornezes might have been one of at least two shooters involved; two women, described by authorities as innocent bystanders, also died.
