Pittsburgh To Get New Asian Food Hall

The seven-stall food hall promises a wide selection of Asian cuisine.

PITTSBURGH, PA — After nearly a year of construction, the Novo Asian Food Hall in the Strip District's Terminal Building is slated to open in December.

The 8,600-square food multi-stall space will have seven open-kitchen eateries featuring a mix of Asian cuisine concepts including sushi, Thai, Chinese and Cantonese dishes, as well as a bar. The eatery will seat about 150 in the dining room and 25 at the bar, which will serve sake and Asian whiskey and beer.

A recent Pittsburgh Post-Gazette report identified the occupants of two of the hall's seven stalls. One will be Lolo's Kusina, which will offer Filipino fare. The other will be Korea Garden 2, an offshoot of the original Korea Garden, which had a two-decade run on Semple Street in Oakland before closing over the summer.
