Pittsburgh Gets Eight-Story Car Vending Machine

You now can pick up a newly purchased vehicle much like you buy a candy bar at work.

PITTSBURGH, PA - You now can buy a car in Pittsburgh much like you’d buy a bag of chips in your office breakroom. Carvana, an online car site, has opened an eight-story, 27-vehicle vending machine in Bridgeville.

How does it work? Customers who purchase a vehicle on Carvana.com can receive a commemorative coin to bring down the car in the vending machine - just like you would do if buying a Three Musketeers bar.

The pick-up process takes only minutes, compared to an average of four hours at the dealership. Also, every Carvana vehicle comes with a seven-day return policy, hopefully assuaging any concerns about purchasing a car online.

Pittsburgh is the second Carvana Car vending machine location in Pennsylvania and the 16th in the U.S. The state’s other Carvana machine is located in Philadelphia.
