Pittsburgh Getting Upscale Puttshack Mini-Golf Bar & Restaurant

The new entertainment and dining concept is coming to the Strip District in 2022.

PITTSBURGH, PA — A new mini-golf experience is coming to Pittsburgh. Puttshack, which combines putt-putt with upscale food and drinks, will be opening at The Terminal in the Strip District.

The more than 23,500 square-foot space will feature four custom-made,tech-driven mini-golf courses. Each course will feature technology that provides automated scoring, bonus point opportunities, interactive games at each hole and more.

Puttshack also will have a dining menu and full cocktail bar. The company says it will bring a "high-energy, upscale nightclub vibe," to the terminal building.

"The Terminal in the Strip District is an iconic part of Pittsburgh's past and burgeoning future that makes it a perfect choice for Puttshack," Joe Vrankin, CEO of Puttshack, said in a release. "We can't wait to bring Puttshack to Pittsburgh and be a part of such an energetic neighborhood of the city."

Puttshack opened its first two U.S. locations this year, which joined three London locales. In addition to Pittsburgh, the company plans to open Puttshacks in Miami, Boston, Houston, Scottsdale and St. Louis in 2022.

The Pittsburgh Puttshack is expected to open in the winter of 2022. About 200 jobs will be created.
