Pittsburgh Has Nation's Worst Grocery Store: Survey
Here is food for thought: A recent national survey says that a Pittsburgh grocery store is the worst in the entire nation.

PITTSBURGH, PA — Pittsburgh is home to the worst grocery store in the United States in terms of prices, quality and more, according to a recent survey.
The survey conducted by website and game maker Solitaired analyzed Google reviews for 3,000 grocery stores in 100 cities to find the best and worst grocery stores across the country and what made shoppers either love or hate them.
End result: You don't want to go the Giant Eagle on Cedar Avenue on the North Side. It was ranked No. 1 on the survey's list of the top 50 worst grocery stores in the United States.

Trailing behind Giant Eagle is the Metro Thriftway on East 63rd Street in Kansas City and Walmart on East Exposition Avenue in Aurora, Colorado. But since you live in the Pittsburgh metro area, you likely don't go there to get your produce.
To identify the worst grocery stores in the United States, researchers focused only on
stores with more than 1,000 reviews. They then combined the star rating and the number of reviews to rank each grocery store.

Overall, shoppers preferred Trader Joe’s, Costco, and Wegmans, while Walmart, King Soopers, Save A Lot, and Kroger were America’s least favorite major grocery chains.
